Christmas Hampers

Each year on the weekend after the Melbourne Cup, the Parish appeals for assistance to families in need through our Christmas Hamper Appeal.  By “adopting” a family, we provide a meal and gifts for Christmas Day for families in need.  These families are referred to us through a number of agencies,like:

• Andrews Centre Endeavour Hills
• John Pierce Centre for the Hearing Impaired
• St Vincent de Paul Conference
• Wellsprings for Women, Dandenong

On the Second Sunday of December (9 Dec) we hold a Hamper Mass at 6pm, where we give thanks for the generosity of the people.  This is followed by a Sausage Sizzle, and Carols in Martin Place.
